SUPERSHINE is an EU-funded project that focuses on the renovation of social housing to help households struggling to pay their energy bills, contributing to the decrease of energy poverty.

PED-ACT is centered on optimizing processes to facilitate improved collaboration among stakeholders and strengthen decision-making. It contributes to standardizing the database of existing Planned, Designed, or Implemented Environmental Demonstrators (PEDs), with a specific focus on Sweden, Turkey, and Austria.

Furthermore, PED-ACT utilizes insights from this database to generate digital PED references by identifying and mapping the needs and priorities of stakeholders in cities such as Borlänge and Umeå in Sweden, Ankara and Karşıyaka in Turkey, and the county of Lower Austria. The project aims to foster bilateral learning and co-design strategies among these diverse cities to facilitate widespread replication of PEDs, ultimately advancing goals related to climate neutrality and the development of smart cities.

NEUTRALPATH is dedicated to laying the groundwork for climate-neutral cities by spearheading the creation of Positive and Clean Energy Districts (PCEDs) and collaboratively designing effective, environmentally friendly solutions. By aligning with the European mission to establish a minimum of 100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030, NEUTRALPATH serves as a model for other cities to emulate the process by 2050.

NATMed, funded by the EU under the PRIMA Program, seeks to create, implement, and verify a collection of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) integrated into current grey and natural water infrastructure. These solutions are designed to align with various stages of the water cycle, with the goal of enhancing water-related and water-dependent ecosystem services.

LEGOFIT, funded by Horizon Europe, endeavors to develop, implement, and validate an advanced, dynamic integrative approach to achieve Energy Positive Homes (EPH). This approach relies on smart and innovative solutions with significant scalability and replicability for both new building construction and renovation projects.

Led by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Department, our project Build4GreenIST, initiated in June 2023 with project partners Environmentally Friendly Green Buildings Association (ÇEDBİK), Demir Energy, and SMARTE Florawise, aims to create a guideline for ensuring that buildings renovated as part of urban transformation are green and carbon-neutral. Additionally, the project aims to promote behavior change for efficient energy use by monitoring energy consumption through sensors in selected pilot area residences.

In line with the Climate Neutral and Smart Cities Mission to support the city's transition to climate neutrality by 2030 and to test innovative approaches, the "NetZeroCities Pilot Cities Program" call was answered with the "Transition Guide to Green and Carbon Neutral Buildings - Istanbul Model (Build4GreenIST)" project on behalf of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. The project has been awarded technical and financial support for a period of two years. Istanbul has been selected as the only pilot city from Turkey.
